I’m a local actress working in Chicago, Illinois. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been in love with the craft and experience of acting. I have a weakness for complex characters, troubled heroines, and stories that crack your heart. My sweet spot tends to be the complicated and sassy romantic girl-next door. Creating a character is a lot like painting; a dash of crimson passion here, a splash of dreamy blue sadness there.
I’m passionate about bringing the stories of people of color to life onscreen, and representing us in our full humanity; our joys and sorrows, successes and failures. There are no easy paths in life, just like there are no simple characters. If I’ve done my job right, the audience will recognize themselves in the character I’ve created.
