“We don’t see things as they are.
We see things as we are.”
- Anais Nin
At nine years old, Chantal was cast as Sassy Munchkin #3 in a Texas theatrical production of The Wiz. From that point on, she was hooked.
She went on to be in several plays in high school, including Mariner and Ovid’s Metamorphosis. Recently, Chantal has enjoyed training at Chicago’s Green Shirt Studio, the Actor’s Garden, and with Big Kahuna director John Swanbeck. She has also recently wrapped filming the lead role of Veronica in When Love Comes Knocking, now out on Amazon Prime and other streaming platforms. This spring, you can view her as the lead role of Jasmine in Tyrone Tappler’s Decisions, as well as playing the lead role of Maria in the DePaul student short film Lavender.
Chantal studied at DePaul University, graduating with a degree in Art & Design. A Texas native, she has been a windy citizen of Chicago for 15 years. When she isn't on camera, Chantal is hanging out with her five year old son, traveling, and working as a Creative Director at World Vision.
